Enabling & disabling Two-Step Verification
How to enable or disable two-step verification for your user account:
- In the Dashboard, go to ↗️ Settings > My Profile and look for Two-Step Verification
- Follow the on-screen instructions
- Ensure you save the Recovery Codes to a safe location, you will need these if you access to your authenticator app. You can always access them from My Profile from the Two-step Verification section.
- You will receive an email confirming that two-step verification has been enabled/disabled
Note: you will need an authenticator app to use this feature. We recommend 1Password’s TOTP feature, or Google Authenticator.
I’ve lost access to my authenticator app for Two-Step Verification
Should you lose access to your authenticator app or cannot generate codes, use one of the Recovery Codes you were asked to save during two-step verification.
Note: A recovery code that has been used, cannot be re-used.
